I saw in the Exit Slips tonight that many of you really want to start collecting info for the final project. I have an overview handout here that is also linked in the syllabus. You will also find several other resources in the syllabus (a slide deck and screencast for Wednesday night and examples and templates for the weekend) but I thought I would put everything here so that you can look over it ahead of time if you are feeling ready to do so. But you don't have to do it yet so pace yourself!
As you start thinking about the topic for this "final project," I want you to stay connected to meaningful work. What do you want to change about the work you do with youth, teachers, or your work community? That is where you begin...
Once you have put together the equation above, you can start thinking about the multiple components of the assignment itself. The project has three parts.
We will talk more about your project ideas in class on Thursday. And then we will do a specific workshop on the pecha kucha presentation format (many resources linked on the left side of my blog) in class on Friday.
Hope this gets you started!
